About 2Point0 Financial

What is 2Point0 Financial?

2Point0 Financial is a virtual, fee-only financial planning and investment management firm built specifically for travel-loving millennials. We help you build a strong financial foundation so you can experience life to the fullest — both now and in retirement.

Who is Riki Cooke?

Riki Cooke, CFP® is the financial planner behind 2Point0 Financial. With over 9 years in the financial services industry and having visited 31 countries across 4 continents, Riki understands the unique financial challenges and goals of travel-loving millennials. He created 2Point0 because he saw a gap in the industry — a firm that takes younger clients as seriously as they deserve.

What does "fee-only" mean?

Fee-only means we are compensated solely by our clients — not by commissions from selling financial products. This structure ensures our advice is always in your best interest, not driven by what earns us the highest commission. As a fiduciary, we are legally required to put your interests first.

Do you work with clients outside of Indiana?

Absolutely! We are a 100% virtual firm, which means we can work with clients anywhere in the United States. All of our meetings are held via video call, so no matter where you are in the world (or the country), we can connect.

Services & Pricing

How much do your services cost?

Our ongoing financial planning service is $189/month. This includes quarterly meetings with a CFP®, budget reviews, tax planning, retirement planning, investment management, and much more. We also offer a One-Time Financial Roadmap for those who want a comprehensive plan without the ongoing relationship. Visit our Pricing page for full details.

Is there a minimum investment or income requirement?

No! That's one of the things that makes 2Point0 different. We don't have investment minimums or income thresholds. We created this firm specifically because we were tired of seeing younger people turned away when they asked for financial help. If you're a millennial who wants to get your finances in order, you're who we serve.

What is included in investment management?

Investment management is optional and not required to become a financial planning client. If you choose to add investment management, we'll manage your investment accounts using a simple, low-cost, evidence-based approach tailored to your goals and risk tolerance. We use Altruist as our custodian platform.

How do I get started?

It's easy! The first step is scheduling a free introductory meeting with Riki via Calendly. This 30-minute call is a chance for us to get to know each other, understand your goals, and determine if 2Point0 Financial is the right fit for you. There's no pressure and no commitment.

The Financial Planning Process

What does the financial planning process look like?

Our process is built around getting to know you and your goals first. We call it the 2.0 Financial Roadmap. It involves life planning conversations, a thorough review of your finances, the creation of a personalized financial plan, and regular check-ins to keep you on track. Check out our Process page for a full breakdown.

How often do we meet?

As an ongoing planning client, we'll meet quarterly (4 times per year) for a formal financial planning meeting. However, you're always welcome to reach out between meetings with questions or if something significant changes in your life. We're your financial partner, not just a quarterly appointment.

Can you help me plan for travel while also saving for retirement?

That's exactly what we do! We believe you shouldn't have to choose between experiencing life now and planning for the future. We'll help you build a financial plan that funds the adventures you want today while ensuring you're on track for a secure retirement — however that looks for you.

Do you help with student loans?

Yes! Student loan planning is a core part of our service. We'll review your loans, help you understand your repayment options (including income-driven repayment plans and forgiveness programs), and create a strategy that balances paying down your debt with achieving your other financial goals.

Still have questions?

We'd love to hear from you! Schedule a free 30-minute introductory call and we can talk through anything you'd like to know. No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation.
